Care Inspectorate Reports

Our ethos is based on person centred practice, N.L.P and solution focused skills.

We, like all other Independent Child Care organisations in Scotland, are inspected at regular intervals by Officers of the Care Inspectorate. We are judged against the Care Standards (Care Homes for Children and Young People).

At Common Thread we take great pride in the therapeutic environments and quality of care we provide for our young people.   This is reflected in our Inspection Reports.   All twelve of Common Thread care facilities have been inspected throughout 2018/19 and been awarded grades of Very Good and Good.  This is a resounding success and respectfully acknowledges the exceptional values and behaviours that Common Thread aspires to.

Our service inspection reports can be viewed on the Care Inspectorate website by searching using ‘Common Thread’ as the keyword.
