Our annual Celebrate and Appreciate Evening took place last night. Fun was had by all as we celebrated the incredible successes of our company, big and small. Awards were given for a wide variety of reasons including Long Service and for those who championed our Values and Behaviours.

We promised our Facebook friends that we would create our School Football Strip Competitoin. The design has been brought to life and we could be happier!!

Our Annual Christmas Card winner has been announced. Our Lucky winner was from our Denny School. What a beautiful design!

Our Annual Christmas Party was held today. Fun was had by all and Santa also made an appearance! An amazing £222 was raised for the Charity CHAS through our raffle and tombola.

The now house manager for these services Louisa Spratt was the first ever employee of Common Thread and Whitcastles Cottage was our first home, I think it is safe to say that we are only just getting started and there are many more firsts to come! We had so much fun last year at the Common Thread Bake Off we just had do it again! This year’s competition did not disappoint. Amazing bakes were enjoyed by all! Head Office are happily struggling to finish what was left over!

Our Dumfries School held their annual MacMillan Cancer Coffee Morning last Friday. An amazing £137.70 was raised for the charity. The amazing cakes were enjoted by everyone!

As World Cup fever has well and truly started, pupils across our education provisions created what they would want Common Thread’s Football strip to look like. Our winner is to your right. Keep an eye in the coming months to see the design come to life!

On Thursday, our Kilmarnock Education Team completed a sponsored Mountain Climb up Ben Lomond. Three Young People were brave enough to journey up the mountain!
